At 7:00 AM, National Highways reported delays of up to 60 minutes, but as of 7:49 AM, the situation has worsened, with delays now extending to 90 minutes. The M3 eastbound between junctions J4A and J3 is currently closed, and traffic officers are on the scene managing the traffic.

For those affected, a diversion route has been advised: Take the M4 eastbound at J4 and follow the Solid Diamond diversion symbol on road signs.
