The Red Sox were prepared to invest in Bregman, but when he chose the Cubs, they quickly pivoted to Suárez. The team still has needs to address, particularly at second and third base. They could explore trades to bolster their infield. Another option is to reunite with Kiké Hernández, who could provide positional flexibility.
